Simonne Berg, hailing from Santa Rosa, California, is a distinguished equestrian specializing in show jumping. Her equestrian journey began in dressage, where she trained up to the Second Level, before transitioning to jumping at the age of 13—a discipline that quickly became her passion. For 12 years she rode with Meredith Herman who with help from Judy Martin and Richard Spooner took Simonne all the way from cross rails to FEI Grand Prix level.   

In 2014, Simonne showcased her burgeoning talent by competing in the FEI North American Youth Championships. Her career reached a significant milestone in 2021 when she and her horse, Cooper, secured their first FEI Grand Prix victory in the $100,000 1.45m Grand Prix CSI2* at the Split Rock Jumping Tour's Sonoma International CSI2*.

The following year, the duo achieved a commendable sixth-place finish in the $228,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Sacramento CSI4*-W at the Sacramento International Horse Show.

Simonne's dedication and consistent performances culminated in her qualification for the 2023 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final in Omaha, Nebraska. This achievement marked her debut at the World Cup Finals, underscoring her ascent in the international show jumping arena.

Beyond her competitive endeavors, Simonne established Berg Equestrian Enterprises LLC, where she offers training, lessons, and sales services. Operating from her private farm in Santa Rosa, she provides tailored programs for clients and horses, reflecting her commitment to the sport's growth and excellence. Simonne strongly believes in flat work due to her dressage background and often has her former dressage trainer come in for flat lessons to help both personal, client and sales horses.
